Each destination is scored across five practical categories for remote work: internet speed, cost of living, safety, visa ease, and quality of life. The overall score ranks the best fit for digital nomads.

The source filters classify low-tax destinations as countries with tax rates at 15% or below, fast-internet destinations at 85 or above, low-cost destinations at 85 or above, and very safe destinations at 85 or above.
